I've been called a heartbreaker, which I know can't be true. I'm not pretty, I'm not skinny, and I've got so many flaws. I don't get why I'm the heartbreaker when my heart's been broken much more than anyone else can guess. Being rejected hurts. Being used hurts. But more than anything else, being lead on hurts. Take it from someone who knows.

Over the weekend I was in Austin, and I went to Dave & Buster's with my parents and two of their friends. On the way out we stopped by a Fortune Teller Machine thing (like in Big ) and we thought it would be fun to just see what the cards would say.

I didn't believe them until I realized just how much our cards actually fit what we needed. My dad's always wanted to be a country singer, but he never got far enough to complete his dream. He made it to the top ten in the competition, which was the finals in this competition. After he lost, he told us he was giving up his dream. He was extremely disappointed with himself. His card told him not to give up his dream, and to keep trying, and he would get it. It also told him that he would be receiving a call from someone to discuss his future with.


My mom just wants to be happy and live a normal life. What she's always wanted is a simple house near the lake. Her card told her that happiness would come in the near future and along with a it a nice house. just like she's always wanted.

I just want someone to hold me and tell me everything will be okay. I want love. My fortune told me exactly what I've been wanting to hear. I'm gunna quote it word for word:


"Romance or great friendship you'll soon find adds great pleasure to your life. You may find that it is difficult to know at what moment this love begins; but less difficult to know that it has begun. Your love is eternal - the aspect may change, but not the essence. Stupid machine or actual Fortune Teller? Who knows.
